Kayne Griffin Corcoran hosts a studio visit with Mika Tajima as part of Art Basel OVR 2020.

Mika Tajima’s research-based practice explores the evolving technologies that shape and control our everyday human experience from predictable programming used in google site searches to the targeting advertisement found on frequented websites. Woven textile, gradient compositions on thermoformed acrylic panels, blown glass, and marble are all used to visualize the invisible forces she explores. Public collections include: SFMOMA; Dallas Museum of Art; Hammer Museum; Hirschhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden; LACMA.
