Spotlight: Vol. 1 Mika Tajima
Spotlight is a new virtual series presented by the Japan Society showcasing artists and featuring tours, studio visits, live demos, Q&As, and more. As part of the first iteration, Japan Society conducted a studio visit with Mika Tajima, whose work translates the intangible (e.g. human emotions) into physical manifestations, which were recently exhibited at Hammer Museum, Whitney Museum, and the Okayama Art Summit in Japan. The artist discusses current projects and takes us on a tour of her Brooklyn studio.
