Mary Corse
Mary Corse: A Symposium was held on October 12, 2018 and was co-organized by the Whitney Museum of American Art and Dia Art Foundation, planned in conjunction with their concurrent presentations of Corse's work. The symposium brought together artists, curators, and scholars to discuss Mary Corse’s work and her innovative engagements with the medium of painting. Topics considered were materials and luminosity, contingency and vision, and new perspectives on artistic practices of the 1960s and 70s.
